Redmi Note 7 now available for only 150 euros
Today the first phone of the new Redmi family - the Redmi Note 7 - was released, and it's really something special. This phone comes with Sony IMX586 48 megapixel sensor, a Snapdragon 660 chipset, and all this for price of around 150 euros.
When it comes to the display, here we have a 6.3" LCD panel with a small notch on top that stores the front facing 13 megapixel camera. The resolution of this display is Full HD+ with a screen to body ratio of 84%. Some would say that the Snapdragon 660 is old, however, it's fast enough to do a great job, especially at this price point. The phone comes is three memory configurations - 3/32GB, 4/64GB and 6/64GB. Of course the storage is expandable via microSD cards.
The focus point of this phone is definitely its main shooter with its 48 megapixels, however, it's best to use is it to make 12 megapixel photos because of Quad-bayer filter that combines 4 pixels into one letting much more light in. The seconday camera is a 5 megapixel sensor that mostly serves for AI support and Portrait Mode shots.
This phone will be fed with power by a 4000 mAh batter that supports 9V/2A fast charging system, although not out of the box - users will have to buy the 18W brick, but only for additional 1 euro. With this brick the phone charges up 0-100% in 1 hour and 45 minutes. Available color options for the Redmi Note 7 are Blue, Twilight Gold and Black.
