Asia Optical developing 5x optical zoom lens

Asia Optical, in cooperation with Israeli company Corephotonics is developing camera lenses that will have 5x optic zoom, and certifications for this product should be issued by the end of the year. Lens will be made from single aspherical lens and three plastic lenses. Asia Optical owns 220 aspherical glass injection molding machines, and monthly capacity is 12 milions of lenses. Production of this lenses should start in Q3 of 2018.. Asia Optical is also manufacturer of glass and aspherical lenses for automotive industry, and they ship about half of milion those modules every year.
