DxOMark test shows iPhone XR camera is the best
DxOMark, the leading camera testers recently analyzed the performance of the iPhone XR. They gave it an overall score of 101 (103 for photos and 96 for videos), and with this score it popped to the very top of single camera phones. To be perfectly honest though, they have still not tested the Pixel 3/3 XL, and we believe that the XR will have some competition there.
Anyway, what DxO mark found is that, even though it has only one camera sensor, the iPhone XR has good edge detection in portrait mode, it had amazing exposure, wide dynamic range while photos have low level of noise and high level of details. Another excellent thing is the autofocus – it's just the best.
However, it does have some flaws. The blur gradient is too high as well as luminance noise in indoor and low-light scenes.
