Huawei has a chance to continue doing business with USA companies

It’s been more than a month since Google halted Huawei ‘s business, but things could return to normal. If you do not know what has happened in the past, here is a brief explanation.

Google, as part of an American action against this Chinese company, suspended operations and licensing of the Android system a month ago. After that, other American companies, like Qualcomm, also said they would cut off all connections with this Chinese company. This all represented one big blow for the company that is currently the second largest smartphone manufacturer in the world.

However, in order to ease the passion for these sanctions a bit, the US government has decided to postpone the ban for 90 days. This means that Huawei was re-licensed for Google products, but it is still not allowed to do business with hardware makers, so it is forbidden to buy US parts and components to manufacture new products without authorization.

However, US President Donald Trump said at the G20 summit held two days ago that Huawei might be removed from the black list, which would mean that US companies can again deal with this mobile phone manufacturer.

“US companies can sell their equipment to Huawei, as long as the transactions do not represent a major national problem,” Trump said

White House Economics Adviser Larry Kudlow said this move was not a “amnesty” for Huawei. The Trade Department will look for ways to allow some firms to continue their business with this brand, but it is not specified when.

The Chinese company did not want to comment on this statement, but it has been said earlier that the prohibition of brand will not affect the security of the state, but will slow down the US in the development of the 5G infrastructure.
