Nokia 7.2 design of the back panel leaked

This month, we’ve seen several leaks of the upcoming Nokia 7.2. The latest leak comes from Joachim Kuss, head of communications for Zeiss Group. His company works with Nokia on the camera modules.

He posted a tweet after a press briefing, in which he expressed excitement for the current state of mobile photography and videography. He shared a photo with the tweet, but seeing that he has removed the photo since, we believe that he did not want to share it. Anyway, the photo was still found, and somebody managed to download it and then re-share it.

The photo confirms rumors that the Nokia 7.2 will have a triple camera setup. The setup will have a 48MP main sensor, a ultra-wide angle camera, and a depth sensor for portrait photos. The camera ring is raised, so fingerprint scanner on the back will be easy to detect.

The Nokia 7.2 is expected to be announced during the IFA next month together with the Nokia 6.2. The 7.2 is powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset and 6GB of RAM. We’ll likely have a 6.2-inch screen with FHD+ resolution and a 3,500 mAh battery.
