Oppo Reno won’t have 10x optical zoom
Oppo has been teasing a phone with a 10x optical zoom, and we have thought that this was going the be the Oppo Reno. However, the renders that have surfaced today prove otherwise. Oppo Reno will come with only a double camera setup on the back. There will be no third lens. The renders also point towards the phone coming in several color options.
Oppo Reno will come in Purple, Pink, Green and Black colors. On these renders, you can see that the phone will come with a double camera setup on the back. The main sensor will likely have a 48MP resolution, while the secondary will be either a wide-angle or a DoF sensor.
On the front, we can see one of the most beautiful designs in a smartphone. It is a notch-less, bezel-less design, with only a small chin at the bottom. The front facing camera will likely come on a pop-up mechanism. This mechanism is, to say the least, unusual, so take a look yourself.
We’ll have an in-display fingerprint reader beneath a 2.5D AMOLED screen. The screen will have a 6.4″ diagonal and the resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Oppo Reno will come with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM paired with either 128 or 256GB of storage memory. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset and it will have a 4000 mAh battery. It will come with Android 9.0 OS pre-installed. You can see the renders below.
