Razer launched their first phone
Razer launched their first phone yersterday, which was announced in last month. This company bought small phone startup project in January – Nextbit, and we knew something like this was going to happen. Razer phone is made out of aluminium with CNC technology. It weighs 197g, and his dimensions are 158.5 x 77.7 x 8 mm.
Screen is very interesting part on this model, because it brings us 120 Hz refresh rate, and screen size is 5.7-inches IGZO LCD type, it reproduces QHD resolution (2560 x 1440 px).
Razer decided to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 on their first device, chipset that is still on the top of the ladder. Flagship processor is paired with 8GB RAM memory, which is not so usual on new devices. Internal memory is 64GB, and it is expandable up to 2TB with microSD card, in theory.
On the camera field we can find dual rear camera. One has 12-megapixels, with aperture of f/1.75 wide lens, and 13-megapixels, f/2.6 zoom lens, also on the rear side we can find Dual–Tone LED flash. Frontal side will provide us selfie camera with sensor that is able to capture 8-megapixels.
Fingerprint sensor is placed on the side of the device, as Sony did it. Smartphone is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, and Oreo is expected to come in 1st quarter of next year. Razer also owns advanced battery with 4.000 mAh, and it is equipped with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ technology. Baterija is charged up to 85% in one hour!
Razer also showed dual stereo speakers on the front side with Dolby Atmos technology, and they also received THX certificate which is first one issued to a phone. Price of the Razer Phone will be 699$, and it will be available on 17th November on official web page.
