Samsung Galaxy Fold coming in September
Samsung confirmed that it will release the Galaxy Fold really soon. The company stated that it had completed the phone’s redesign. The device will be available to consumers from September in select markets.
Just to remind you, the Samsung Galaxy Fold was released earlier this year but was then delayed indefinitely due to problems that started to mount up. Test units suffered display and hinge failures due to the flawed design of the phone. Anyway, Samsung has now supposedly improved both the hinge and the display. It will even have improved protection features around the hinge area were dust was able to sneak in.
Samsung announced the new redesigned and improved Fold will come with additional apps and services optimized for the unique foldable user experience. We don’t know precisely what they mean by this, but we’ll see soon enough.
The price will likely remain 1,999€.
