Samsung S10 let’s you remap Bixby button
Ever since it first came out, users have wanted the button for something else, and now it's finally possible to do it. Samsung has given the users and option to remap the Bixby button – to an extent at least. Here's how it works.
You can't exactly map what you want onto the button and completely bypass Bixby. However, the button registers single and double presses, and only one of these will launch the assistant. So if you choose to launch Bixby by double pressing the button, single press is free to be used by some other app.
It's not really what the users were hoping for, but it's something, much better than being forced to use the arguably useless voice assistant. This way the users will get some sort of utility out of the button, and if done properly might actually be a very good solution to the issue.
