Sony Xperia XZ Premium received Oreo update

Sony Xperia XZ Premium today has started receiving OS Android 8.0 Oreo updates. Some of the contributed features on this update are:

• 3D Creator which allows 3D scanning of the face or any other object, afterwards, you can send render to friends, post it on social networks, or even send it to 3D printer.
• One of new options is also predictive capture functionality that will automatically take pictures when you smile, autofocus burst tracks and captures moving objects with sharp focus, to get blur-free photos.
• Also, sound quality is upgraded, and it will allow you tuning for stereo speakers on front side of the phone. Qualcomm aptX HD support will ensure you high quality sound on wireless headphones.

If you own this device, and still haven't received an update, you can always manualy start it accesing Settings – About Phone – Software Updates. Have in mind that you need at least 50% of the battery before you proceed to update, because of the download size.
