Galaxy A91 to come next year with 45W fast charging support

Samsung is already preparing their new Galaxy A series smartphones. The new lineup will come in 2020 with names ending in “1”. Unsurprisingly, the highest-end of the bunch will be the Galaxy A91.

As the rumor says, this phone will have a 108MP main camera sensor, which will be aided by a 16 MP ultrawide and a 12 MP telephoto with 5x optical zoom, as well as a 3D ToF sensor. Samsung now accidentally released another piece of info: the Galaxy A91 will support 45W fast wired charging. This will be the third Samsung phone to support this feature, together with the Galaxy Note10+ and Note10+ 5G.

This information comes straight from a listing on the Samsung Hungary website. The same listing also confirmed that Samsung will soon release the 5G version of the Galaxy A90 5G. This model will only get support for 25W wired charging, though. The A90 5G should be Samsung’s more affordable 5G offering – not cheap per se, just cheaper than the flagships’ 5G versions.
