18k gold 2018 iPhone ready for pre-order
Apple will be releasing new iPhone line-up in September, and despite many leaks, we still don't know what they will be called. That's why we'll only refer to it as the 2018 iPhone. No matter the name, it will surely be and exquisite device, and it being made by Apple will probably cost a little fortune. Why not turn it to a real fortune though?
Gold plating company Golgenie announced that they are taking up preorders for gold plated 2018 iPhone. Called the "Billionaire Solid Gold Edition", it will come with 18k gold plating and it will cost a whopping £100,000 (around 112.000€). This device will come at you with 256GB of internal storage memory, it will have a Billionaire logo on the back just to make sure nobody misses the fact that you're holding a solid gold iPhone and it will come in a luxury wooden box that itself probably costs probably more than a brand new iPhone in retail.
The "good" news is that you don't have to pay up the full price immediately – they only ask you for a 50% deposit, so in case you left your wallet at home, you're golden with just your emergency stash. Alongside the phone (and the box), you'll get a 5-year membership to Goldgenie's VIP Concierge service.
