Affordable Motorola smartphone “Moto E5 Play” launches today
A much more cheaper version of the Motorola Moto E5 has been released worldwide today called the Moto E5 Play Android Go Edition. The smartphone runs on an operating system that was based on the Android Oreo Go called the Android Go Edition which enables itself to run on the most low-end hardware systems out there therefore dragging the smartphone’s price down.
The Moto E5 Android Go Edition is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 and features a slightly bigger display panel size of 5.84-inch with a 480 x 854 resolution but features a lesser RAM size of 1GB with an expandable storage of 16GB, and a small battery capacity of 2,100mAh.
The Moto E5 Play is paired with a camera setup of 8 Megapixel at the back and 5 Megapixel at the front. It also still retains its fingerprint reader. The smartphone will cost €109/£99.95 for Europe and the United Kingdom and will be available in Black, Dark Lake and Flash Gray color variants. Motorola says that the device will also arrive the market of Latin America by the end of this month.
