Android 8.0 beta starts rolling out to some LG G6 models in China
Screenshots that appeared on the Internet posted by the Chinese user of the LG G6 model reveal the beta system on one of these models. This model got Android Oreo 8.0 beta update thanks to the OTA. The beta version mainly means user testing of system version on the given phone, as well as almost publishing a stable version on all of its models.
For now, it is unknown whether LG plans to release beta update to other countries or this program is only reserved for China. LG G6 models that received this update have the following serial numbers: LGM-G600L, LGM-G600S, LGM-G600K, LGM-G600LR, LGM-G600SR, LGM-G600KR, LGM-G600LP, LGM-G600SP and LGM-G600KP.
LG has also released OTA update in Korea with a stable Oreo version for its V30 model, so the G6 should not be much lagging behind this model.
