Apple unlock faster wireless charging with iOS 11.2 update
Apple will unlock faster wireless charge with iOS 11.2 update on models iPhone X / iPhone 8 i iPhone 8+. Untill this update, battery was charget with 5W power, update will enable more, 7.5W. Considering that some other smartphones have even up to 15W charge power, this is not a big step forward, but for sure, 7.5W is better than 5W. Belkin and Mophie wireless chargers that come with those models, support 7.5W charge. iOS 11.2 update is not available yet, but it should be released in next weeks.
