Can we expect future Xperia device to lose the “X” mark?
We know that Sony's new phones, the ones that will be presented at the MWC in Barcelona, will come with a completely changed design, something we didn't have a chance to see in their previous devices. Based on today's leaks we see that the design change isn't the only change – the company has decided to change the naming scheme of the Xperia devices.
EXCLUSIVE! Sony has changed the the name of Xperia XA3 and XA3 Plus to Xperia 10 and 10 Plus! So the renders leaked @rquandt are of the new series called Xperia 10! It makes sense that the series has been changed because the design is pretty different. You like it? #Xperia10 pic.twitter.com/ZdtGc5J2VQ

This time, the phone that was supposed to be named Xperia XA3 will bear the name Xperia 10, and another device, the supposed Xperia XA3 Plus, will become the Xperia 10 Plus.

This new naming scheme with the mark "10" in the name likely reflects 10 years of Xperia line's existence. When it comes to the Xperia lineup, it has made its debut way back in 2008. which means that the real anniversary was a few months ago.
