Galaxy A8s comes to South Korea as Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2019)
Last month, Samsung officially announced their first phone with Infinity-O design, that is a display with a hole inside. We'll see similar design on the new Galaxy S10 lineup, but until then the A8s is the only Samsung device with such a design. Until now it was only available im China, exactly where this phone was first launched.

Today the Korean company has made an announcement stating that this phone will now on be available on their own (domestic) market since February 28, but under a different name – Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2019). This 2019 suffix is only added to distinguish this phone from a three year older Galaxy A9 Pro (2016).
Galaxy A9 Pro (2019) uses a Snapdragon 710 chipset and it will be available in only one memory configuration with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device comes with a 3400 mAh battery and Android Pie OS preinstalled. It has a triple camera setup on the back – the main sensor has 24 megapixel resolution, the secondary sensor is a 10MP telephoto sensor and the third one is a depth of field sensor with 5MP resolution. The true star, however, is the 24 megapixel front facing camera found inside the Infinity-O punch hole.

Korean users will be able to buy this phone at a price of KRW 599.500 which translates to around 470 euros.
