LG and Samsung to introduce 5G phones at MWC 2019

At the traditional MWC faire that's held every year towards the end of February, many new devices by the leading manucatures get announced. The upcoming MWC will be held between February 25 and 28 2018, and according to South Korean media reports, both Samsung and LG are planning to announce their 5G enabled phones there.

It is excpected that Samsung will here introduce their new Galaxy S10 lineup, but the first 5G enabled phone by Samsung should be another phone, something independant from the Galaxy S10. In the meantime, LG also plans to introduce their own 5G phone on MWC. It is expected that this will be an updated version of the LG G7 ThinQ, which will put to use the latest Qualcomm chipset with 5G technology, and it will most likely be named LG G8 ThinQ.

The next, fifth generation of network technology will become the basis for 2019 smartphones, and these two companies will launch their 5G phones as early as the following spring, which will be a great addition in areas where 5G networks are enabled.
