More advanced Nokia 7.1 comes to Europe

News that will lift up the spirits of Nokia fans around Europe is that the 4/64GB version of the Nokia 7.1 should become avialable this Friday.

On its front side, the Nokia 7.1 has a 5.84" FullHD+ display with the aspect ratio of 19:9. Just as all other Nokia phones so far, this one also belongs to the Android One program, and it comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, however, the update to Android 9.0 Pie has already started rolling out. It is worth to mention that Android One phones will, guaranteed, get software updates for two years and security patches for three years.


On it back there is a double camera setup that packs two sensors, one with the resolution of 12 and the other of 5 megapixels. The primary sensor has the resolution of 12 megapixels and has the aperture of f/1.8, as well as Zeiss signed optics. On the front side there is an 8 megapixel sensor with the aperture of f/2.0. This device is powered by the Snapdragon 636 chipset and a relatively modest 3060 mAh battery. There is also fast charging support, for which HMD claims it will charge up the phone from 0-50% in only 30 minutes. When it comes to other features, the Nokia 7.1 has a fingerprint scanner as well as Dual 4G VoLTE connection option, WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0,  NFC and A-GPS

The price of the new 4/64GB version, which is already available for preorders in Czech Republic, is aroud 330 euros.
