MWC saw announcement of the fastest 1TB memory card
As your appetite for high quality content grows, your phone needs more and more storage memory.
Leading companies behind the best memory cards, Micron and SanDisk, have both announced 1TB microSD cards on this year's MWC. These cards will be used to store large numbers of photos and high quality videos, high speed applications, ever growing games and all other data and media.

Maximum read speed of the SanDisk's card is 160 MB/s compared to 100 MB/s for Micron's, but the second one is faster when it comes to write speeds with just 5 MB/s. The maximum write speed of the Micron microSD card is 95 MB/s.
1TB of data is – 1000GB, and if you, for example, have a phone that has 16GB of storage, this memory card has 62 times more capacity than you phone. When it comes to the price, SanDisk microSD card will be available from April for $449, while Micron c200 1TB card will be available from Q2 2019, however the price is still unknown. Another advantage, and a byproduct of these new high speed, high volume cards is that current microSD cards have to go down in price, which is very nice.
