Samsung Galaxy A80 – good scores on AnTuTu benchmark

Not only has the Samsung Galaxy A80 brought the rotating camera design, but it is also the first device to feature the Snapdragon 730. The newest member of the A series made its way on AnTuTu to show what the new internals are capable of.

With its Snapdragon 730 and Adreno 618 paired up, the device managed to push out a score of 207,082 which is comparable to the Snapdragon 835 and Kirin 970. While not quite as fast as the current flagships – the real advantage of the Galaxy A80’s chipset should come in its power efficiency thanks to the new 8nm process. The Snapdragon 730 features six Kryo 460 cores clocked at 2.2Ghz.

The Samsung Galaxy A80 comes with a 6.7” Super AMOLED screen. On the rotating mechanism, there are 48MP, 8MP and ToF cameras. It also comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB non-expandable storage. The battery has the capacity of 3,700 mAh and supports Samsung’s new 25W fast charging. It will cost €650 and it will come to the shelves on May 29.
