Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) – Oreo update is here!
Back in summer, Samsung announced that some of their 2016 devices were going to receive Android Oreo update, which made the users very happy. To make things even better, the update was supposed to come at the beginning of 2019, but some devices are receiving it 2 months ahead of time!
Android Oreo came OTA, and the update weighs 2.09GB. This is quite a substantial update, and some users might need to clear up some of their 32GB storage.
The software comes together with Samsung Experience UI 9.0 which brings many improvements and new features. With the new update, the 5000 mAh battery of the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) should bring even better autonomy.
If you happen to own this phone, and you still haven't received the update notification, make sure to manually check whether you got it.
