Samsung Galaxy Fold on Geekbench – not that impressive
The first Samsung's foldable phone, officially announced last month, is going to be introduced on April 26 in the USA and South Korea and on May 3 in Europe. Today, the phone was spotted on Geekbench with not so impressive results.
A device with the model number SM-F900F runs on the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset together with 12GB of RAM. That means that all version of this device will be powered with the new Qualcomm flagship chipset. However, the surprising thing is that Samsung has announced that all versions of the Galaxy Fold will be powered by a 7nm chipset, and since the latest Samsung's Exynos 9820 chipset is built on an 8nm process, we can assume that even the global version of the Galaxy Fold will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, which will be a first for Samsung.

Galaxy Fold directly out of the box comes with Android 9.0 Pie system, and it will be updated to Android Q as soon as the update is ready. This device has scored 3418 points in the single core and 9703 points in multicore performance. These numbers are pretty low taking into account that this is a premium phone.
As was announced at the Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco last month, this smartphone comes with a 4.6" HD+ resolution display with the aspect ratio of 12:9, while when unfolded it has an impressive 7.3" QXGA+ display. It comes with 6 cameras, three outer sensors, two inner and one facing towards the front.
