Samsung Galaxy XCover 4S now official

Last week we saw the full leak of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 4s. Now the Korean company has decided to officially announce it in Italy.

Because it’s a part of the XCover line, the phone is rugged: it has IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, and it’s MIL-STD 810G compliant. Otherwise, it’s a mid-ranger through and through.

It has a 5″ TFT HD touchscreen, the Exynos 7885 chipset, a 16MP f/1.7 rear camera, a 5MP f/2.2 selfie shooter, and a 2,800 mAh battery. It runs on Android 9 Pie, and has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Its dimensions are 145.9 x 73.1 x 9.7 mm.

The dedicated XCover button on the side can launch your preferred app or action, as it’s fully customizable at will.

The Samsung Galaxy XCover 4s will become available in Italy in July for 299.99€. We expect it to reach other European markets soon after that, for a similar (if not identical) price.
