Samsung got more pre-orders for 512GB than 128GB Note9

Korean media today reported that Samsung has received more pre-orders for the more expensive Note9 version which packs 512GB of storage memory combined with 8GB of RAM. This is very good news for Samsung, because, in Korea, this device costs around 1200 euros.

It seems that customers, after some price point, stop caring about the price and are just focused on the performance. Although the less expensive Note9 costs around 200 euros less, which is by no means a small amount, it comes with 2GB of RAM less and "only" 128GB of storage. We cannot say for sure that this trend will be followed by the rest of the world market – Samsung is still Korean company – but even is the sales of the 512GB model drop by a small margin, it will bring enormous profits to the company. We can only hope that Samsung will use some of that money for future R&D and phenomenal new devices.
