Samsung in partnership with Fujifilm unveils ISOCELL Plus technology

Samsung in a joint effort with Fujifilm recently unveiled today their ISOCELL Plus technology on their official website. The ISOCELL Plus technology is an improved version based off the original ISOCELL technology which was introduced back on 2013.

A new innovated material to replace the old metal barrier was developed by Fujifilm to be used on the ISOCELL Plus to minimize optical loss and light reflection resulting in a 15% improvement in light sensitivity paired with outstanding color fidelity.

The ISOCELL Plus will enable Samsung to develop an image sensor with an 0.8 µm pixels without sacrificing performance and quality. The company also said that this will benefit devices that uses 20+ megapixel cameras.

We can expect that that this technology will be implemented and features in Galaxy S10 and Note 10.
