Samsung will unveil new Exynos SoC on 4th January 2018
Qualcomm, and even if the strongest chip maker, is not in the race alone. Samsung decided to announce a new chipset from the Exynos series that is going to be unveiled on January 4th, 2018, which is in about seven days. The creator has not given us the knowledge about which chipset is it, but we suggest that this is the version 9810 which will be used in the new flagship S9 models for the European market. The new chipset will be unveiled during the CES.
Exynos 9810 is likely to be used only in S9 / S9 + and perhaps Note 9 models for all markets other than the US. It is expected that this chipset will be manufactured on FinFET 10 nanometer technology, just like the new Snapdragon 845 chipset. It is also anticipated that the new chipset comes with the LTE Cat 18 modem, which will have a 1.2 Mbit/s download speed and 150 Mbit/s upload.
