The BlackBerry KEY2 is now available for pre-orders
The BlackBerry KEY2 is now available for online pre-ordering from some U.K. based stores after it was revealed yesterday. Two of the stores available for pre-ordering KEY2 are Carphone Warehouse and Selfridges, they’ll be accepting pre-orders until 27th of June. Price starting at £579.00 in the UK ($649 for the US) with the color option of silver and black.
The BlackBerry KEY2 is powered by Qualcomm’s octa-core Snapdragon 660. The smartphone is equipped with a decent amount of 6GB of RAM with an internal storage option up to 64GB or 128 GB, and a microSD slot. KEY2 will feature a QWERTY keyboard with a fingerprint scanner integrated to its space bar, a 4.5-inch display with a 1620 x 1080p resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The camera on the back features a dual-camera setup made up of a 12-megapixel sensor with a f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 12-megapixel sensor with a f/2.6 aperture, the front camera is made up of an 8-megapixel selfie sensor. The cameras are capable of video recording in 4K at 30 frames per second and are topped off with a dual-tone LED flash. A 3,500mAh battery that will be backed up by Quick Charge 3.0.
Customers in the US who are interested on the phone will have access to pre-order later this month.
