The LG G7 ThinQ has been unveiled, here is all you need to know

The new LG G7 is finally here and it is ready to join other members on the smartphone market. It is officially released and it is launched in the ThinQ brand. The most notable feature is the Notch. The LG made a decision to keep the current trend with the new 6.1 inch 19.5:9 3120 x 1440 pixel display. It is surrounded by even thinner bezels making it a whole new experience of Full Vision panel.

It is relied on the LCD technology and the M+ panel uses RGBW arrangement, with the extra pixel made to improve contrast and delivering the maximum brightness of 1000 nits. It is HDR 10 supported and protected by a Gorilla Glass 5 layer.
LG is keeping up the “ new second screen “. These screens were already presented in the V-series, but the compay decided to switch its phablets to the ordinary OLED panels since. Another striking adventage is the hardware button for the assistant, and this is the first time we are seeing it in the history of LG smartphones. The company made a decision to keep the Google Assistant and this also makes it the first Google Assistant hardware key button in smartphone industry.
The LG G7 is double–glass designed, using the Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides, with an alluminium frame (which is even thinner than on the LG G6) positioned in between. The body of the smartphone is MIL-STD-810G supported and IP68 certified.

The smarphone can be charged using the Wi-Fi, WPC and PMA support.  The battery capacity is also notable because of its 3,000 mAh and the Type-C port, up to quick charge 3.0 rates. The battery is powered by Qnovo so it should benfit us with the better life span of the battery. Some other important specifications to mention are the Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. This can be expanded via microSD, of course. Other specifications include Cat 16/13 (1Gbps/150Mbps), GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, and there can be found some Dual-SIM models on the market.

Talking about the camera area, the company keeps up the well shown system with a pair of 16MP snappers, one with a 71-degree field of view and the other with a super wide 107-degree. The elementary module is behind the f/1.6 lens which is complete with OIS, laser autofocus and phase detection. The other one is fixed focus and uses a dimmer f/2.9 lens. It is without OIS. The smartphone AI is responsible for a better camera experience and the low-light shots are better because of the smart-pixel-binning technology. The secondary camera experience is also improved so the portraits end up better, too. The selfie camera has 8MP, f/1.9, 90 for a 90 degree shots.

The highlight is on the smartphones audio. It has the Boom Box stereo speaker setup, complete with DTS-X which can develop a 7.1 surround sound. This is the second feature first-time used in the history of smartphones. The jack intact is 3,5mm connected to high-end 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC from ESS. LG has also put in a pair of microphones which develop a fascinating 5 meter pick up range. This should also improve the usage of Google Assistant. The samrtphone is powered by Oreo and LG's AI Pack 2.0. LG has agreed to release the Android P update when the Google delivers the final version. Smartphone can be found in 4 different colors. These are: New Platinum Gray, New Aurora Black, New Moroccan Blue and Raspberry Red.
