When is Oreo update finally arriving on S7 and S7 Edge smartphones?
The long-awaited Android 8.0 Oreo update for Samsung Galaxy S7 / S7 edge is just a few weeks away from the release. The previous information from the Turkish website handled by Samsung said that the launch time should be in the middle of May, but many people didn't find it reliable because the first information was that it will be relased much earlier.
Due to the development and approval procedures this information wasn't accurate. This is the reason why it is late and now we are expecting the realease of the update in the mid-May. Aiming at the Korean users, Samsung has posted a notice on the Members app, which is confirming plans of the Android Oreo update for many Samsung devices including the S7 and S7 edge.
Mainly, Samsung claims that they are doing their best to release this update until mid-May. The only thing that could delay it is a major issue with the final build. Hopefully, this wont happen as it could make us wait so much longer. First 6 months of the year should bring us the update for three other Samsung smartphones. These are the Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017), Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017), and Samsung Galaxy Tab S3.
