Android 8.1 Oreo update coming for the Lenovo Tab 4 series

When the Lenovo Tab 4 and its variants was released last year, it was pre-installed with Android 7.1 Nougat but that’s about to change soon. Recently, it was confirmed that the Tab 4 series will receive the Android 8.1 Oreo update.

The update for the Android 8.1 Oreo is already being worked on by the company and will be available for the Lenovo Tab 4 8, Tab 4 8 Plus, and Tab 4 10 by the end of the year.

Owners of the tablet should expect the update to start around November. It’s presumed that the Android 8.1 Oreo will be Lenovo Tab 4’s last major OS update.
