Android 9.0 Pie beta available on Xiaomi Mi A1
Another Mi A series device, that was launched last year and that's also a part of Android One programme now officially receives the latest Android 9.0 Pie beta. The new update doesn't bring only Android Pie software, but also a lot of other new features that all work towards improving user experience.

One of the Xiaomi Mi A1 users has recently posted a screenshot to his Google+ that shows that the beginning of Android Pie update has finally begun. Becuase this is only the beta version, most users can expect different issues and errors. Stable version of the new OS can be expected sometime at the beginning of 2019. According to reports, this OTA update weighs about 1.1GB which makes it quite a big package. Android 9.0 Pie beta update for the Xiaomi Mi A1, among other things, includes the FM radio, adaptive battery, new navigation system, redesigned settings application and adaptive brightness. Sadly, there are no visible changes in the camera field.
In case you still haven't received the notification about this update on your Mi A1, you can set it manually through the settings app. It is worth to mention that the update is, at the moment, only available in India, but we're soon expecting it on devices all around the world.
