Samsung Galaxy A8+ (2018) soon to get Android 9.0 Pie
Another Samsung device launched in December last year on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS, and that got updated to Android Oreo in July this year has today been seen on Geekbench running on Android 9.0 Pie.
Geekbench listing show that Samsung is testing Android Pie on the Galaxy A8+ (2018). However, we know that Samsung has still not developed a stable Android Pie version even for their flagships, so we believe that this update will reach the A8+ in a few months.
Galaxy A8+ (2018) has scored 1533 single core and 4239 multi core points running on Android Pie OS. These results are on par with how the device performed on Android 8.0 Oreo, which is definitely a good foundation for the Pie update. We still don't know whether this phone will get the new Samsung UI together with the Pie update.
This same update is expected for the Galaxy A8 (2018) as well, but also at the beginning of next year.
