Fingerprint sensor under the screen will be unveiled at CES 2018
US company Synaptics has announced its fingerprint sensor, which will be located under the phone's screen. The company has announced today to beginning mass production of this Clear ID FS9500 sensor, which is specially designed for phones with "Inifinity" screens (18:9). Clear ID sensor will be faster than other biometric unlocking technologies.
This sensor will be able to scan the print in any condition, if your fingers are wet or dry, and since the sensor is located beneath the screen, it will not be possible to damage the sensor with physical activity.
Synaptics optical fingerprint sensors are available with SentryPoint technology, featuring Quantum Matcher for an adaptive fingerprint template and high precision when unlocking, PurePrint protection against any fingerprint spoof that works with unique artificial intelligence technology to distinguish between genuine print and any spoof, as well as SecureLink, which combines support for TLS protocol with ECC authentication and AES encryption.

Synaptics announced the presentation of this sensor at CES in 2018, which will be held in Las Vegas from January 9 to 12. Also, this sensor will be initially available only to manufacturers of high-class phones, such as Samsung, which is already known to be coming up with this kind of technology at the beginning of next year for S9 model.
