Google Pixel 3 XL running Android Q on Geekbench

Each year a new version of Android with a new codename reaches out and replaces an older version. It seems that the new Android Q is already in the alpha testing phases, since the Google Pixel 3 XL was already seen on Geekbench running this software. Android P was first officially heard of this year in June, and it was already running on devices in October. Rumors about the new version of the OS have already begun, and what other device to get it first but the native Google’s Pixel device. We still don’t know what the 10th iteration of Android will be called since there’s not too many candies starting with the letter Q, and it’s already a tradition to have a candy in the name.

Google has made their Project Treble widely accessible, and all devices that shipped with Android 9.0 Pie are already included into this program. Treble devices receive beta versions of software much earlier in order for developers to get to know what they will be working with. Soon enough we should see many other phones running Android Q which also explains the list above.
