Google’s Augmented Reality Measuring App released for all ARCore devices
Google has released a free app on the Google Play Store called Google Measure which was only exclusive for Google’s Tango devices but is now available for all devices that supports ARCore.
Google Measure is an augmented reality platform which uses the phone’s camera and allows you to measure objects and distance from point A to point B in the real world with a single tap on the device anytime and anywhere. The app itself may not be always accurate but it still gives you the closest measure that a tape measure will give. It is recommended to use the app on an environment that is well lit and a good textured surface to get a satisfactory result.
