Google’s new patent features AI for its Wear OS to attain fitness goals

After the news of Huawei’s patent on a smartwatch a couple of days ago, It was discovered  that Google recently patented some features they’re working on for their upcoming latest version of Wear OS.

According to the patent, the smartwatch would feature an AI (Artificial Intelligence) to allow wearers to track and achieve their fitness goals. The AI works by gathering its wearers data such as the wearers current location, movement progress, and their calendar logs. If the schedule allows it, the AI will suggest the wearer to take a walk or bicycle instead of taking a vehicle while reaching their destination on time.

Unlike most smartwatches, this seems to be a better way for prompting notification for the users. Hopefully this patent AI feature would be included to the final product.
