Huawei in trouble due to marketing error

Usually, phone ads are quite on point showcasing exactly what a new smartphone can do. However, images you see may or may not be taken by the phone you're watching the commercial for. More often than not, these photos and videos are taken by professionals using professional equipment.

Huawei just happened to get caught in the action.  While shooting a commecrcial for Egyptian market, Sarah Elshamy, the actress from the ad, posted a "behind the scenes" photo on her instagram showing that not everything is as it seems.

The actor just pretends to hold the phone, while the footage is clearly made by a professional and a DSLR camera, and not by the Huawei Nova 3 or Nova 3i.

Phones are indeed becoming evermore powerful, but it seems that, for the time being, selfie cameras cannot outperform professional equipment.
