Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro battery capacities leaked
Huawei’s upcoming flagships, Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro will come with seriously fast charging. They will support 25W wireless charging, as well as 55W wired charging. Both these are record speeds, however, battery capacity was somehow never discussed.
According to a new post on Weibo, the batteries you see in the image below are going to be the ones placed in the new flagships. Take this with a grain of salt though, as it’s all still unclear. However, if this is true, then the Mate 30 should get a 4,200 mAh unit, while the Pro version will have a 4,500 mAh battery.
That would make a 5% bigger battery for the Huawei Mate 30 compared to its predecessor, and around a 7% increase for the Mate 30 Pro when you compare it to the Mate 20 Pro.
As the new phones will come with the Kirin 990 chipset, which is supposedly a very power efficient chipset, the battery life should (at least theoretically) be improved from the Mates of 2018.
