Huawei negotiating with Aptoide as a possible alternative to Google
After the US government put Huawei on the blacklist, Google and several other companies announced they would stop working with this Chinese manufacturer. It is precisely in this company that many issues are created, which deal with the production of hardware, but also the software environment.
Denying access to the Play Store definitely means that Huawei needs a backup solution. It has been said that one of the options could be the introduction of their internal operating system, but today’s reports indicate that this company is in conversation with an alternative store of Aptoide applications.

This Portuguese company, Aptoide is one of the most popular replacements for the Play Store that is now available. It contains over 900,000 applications in its library and since its launch, it has gathered over 200 million users to date. The company is already working with the three largest Chinese smartphone manufacturers, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo.

So far, there is no official statement about a possible partnership, therefore these two companies are still in talks, how to integrate their products. This can happen in two ways: Huawei upgrades the Aptoide store on smartphones or integrates its functionality in Huawei AppGallery.

Recall that Huawei is currently a restored 90-day product license for Google products, which gives the ability to continue sending operations for existing Huawei mobile phone users to help them offer software updates for their Huawei and Honor devices.
As things continue to happen, there may be a possibility that the US Department of Commerce will further mitigate the ban and even achieve mutual reconciliation. Or maybe, in the end, Huawei eventually introduced its own operating system as a replacement for Android. We’ll see, time will show.
