Huawei nova 5 sold in 2 million units in a month
Huawei launched its nova 5 lineup on June 21 with three phones – nova 5, nova 5i and nova 5 Pro. The launch of the series also marked the official launch of the new chipset Kirin 810. This chipset should power many upcoming Huawei and Honor mid-rangers.
It’s now only five weeks after the launch, and Huawei has just announced it has sold 2 million units of the nova 5 smartphones. This milestone includes only the 3 devices – the nova 5i Pro that was launched on Friday did not count towards the sales.

Huawei made this announcement after its fourth consecutive weekly flash sale. It’s worth to mention that this number includes only domestic sales – the nova 5 are only available in China.
The next flash sale of the four nova 5 phones, including the nova 5i Pro, is scheduled for August 2. They will be available, as usual, on Vmall.com and JD.com.
