Huawei nova 5 visits AnTuTu benchmark test

Huawei announced the nova 5 series a few days ago. The regular nova 5 sports a new Kirin chipset, the Kirin 810. We now have the results of the AnTuTu benchmark test of the new phone. and it seems that this phone will be a great mid-ranger.

The new chipset developed in-house by Huawei is a huge leap forward. The Kirin 810 is significantly better than both Kirin 710 and Snapdragon 730. The new chipset should also shake up the ground firmly held by Qualcomm in the middle segment of the market.

Regarding the test itself, the Huawei nova 5 scored 237.000 points. With this result, it is about 13% better than the Snapdragon 730 (score of around 210.000 points). Compared to the Kirin 710, there’s an even bigger improvement of around 70% overall. The new chip’s GPU is what brings this boost in particular. It performs about 25% better than the Snapdragon and nearly 3x better the Kirin 710.
