Huawei’s Bezel-less design patent

Back in February, Huawei filed a patent describing a design that features a rear panel that will support the display panel at the top and secured with strong adhesives and then enclosed with metal strips on both side instead of using smartphone frames.

The company said that the design won’t compromise the anti-dust and water properties but instead strengthens it due to the high quality adhesives used on securing the display.

The concept does sure sound interesting but it’s unknown if Huawei is gonna implement it on their future devices or still just experimenting on it. The weak point of the design seems to lay on its metal frames using adhesives and might break if it hit the ground strong enough.
