Huawei’s Honor Note 10 goes official and is available for pre-orders

Huawei is finally making the Honor Note 10 go official. The specs of the smartphone has also been released and most of the specs fits with the past reports. The smartphone features a 6.95-inch AMOLED display which also supports HDR10 wirth a 115^ NTSC color gamut coverage. The display also features thin side bezels and it will not be a notched design.

The Honor Note 10 is powered by the company’s Kirin 970 chipset. A choice of 6GB of RAM with a 64GB/128GB of internal storage or an 8GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage are available along with an expandable microSD card slot and an outstanding 5,000Mah battery. It will have a pre-installed Android 8.1 Oreo right out of the box with EMUI 8.2.


The Kirin 970 chipset is equipped with a liquid cooling solution consisting of 9 layers with 8 layers of it dedicated for dissipation while the 9th one is equivalent to a PC liquid cooled pipe making the heat flow of the smartphone much cooler by 41%. The smartphone also supports the GPU turbo technology and a new CPU turbo enabling the device to go into what the company calls “Double Turbo mode” which can be activated by pressing a dedicated button on the bottom of the phone which also acts as a shutter when using the camera app. The smartphone features a 24MP + 16MP dual camera setup at the back with an aperture of f/1.8 while a single camera setup of 13MP with an f/2.0 aperture at the front.

 

Huawei Honor Note 10 will cost around $409 for the 6GB/64GB, $468 for the 6GB/128GB, while $527 for the 8GB/128GB. The smartphone will be available in 2 color options such as Midnight Black and Phantom Blue. Pre-orders are already being accepted in China with the shipments expected to begin on August 1.
