Huawei to announce EMUI 10 on August 9

Huawei will start its annual Developer Conference on August 9. They will first unveil the latest iteration of their Android skin – EMUI 10. This two-day event is expected to gather around 5,000 developers from all over the world in Dongguan. The event will showcase the latest advancements in the software world of the Chinese tech giant.

Wang Chenglu, President of Huawei Consumer Business Software will lead the EMUI keynote which will take place at the Dongfeng Nissan Cultural and Sports Centre.

We don’t know too much about EMUI 10 but we know that it will be based on Android Q. Other rumors point towards an updated visual experience with slightly altered icons and UI elements alongside a new system-wide font.

It will come with improved multitasking which will offer a faster and more fluid experience while the camera app will also be refreshed with more new features. The new GPU Turbo 4.0 will provide an even better gaming experience and the second gen ARK Compiler will be in charge of keeping devices running smoothly.

Huawei is also expected to give some information about its HongMeng OS during the conference but we’ll have to wait until August 9 and see.
