Huawei Y6 Pro to come to Philippines

Huawei has recently made some very good flagship phones, however, they did not forget how to make budget smartphones. Their new Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 will hit the market in the Philippines next month, and it aims to compete with other cheap smartphones such as the Realme C1 and the Xiaomi Redmi Go. It will be powered by a Helio A22 chipset with a quad-core CPU clocked at 2GHz, it will have a 6.1" HD+ display, a single camera setup on the back and no fingerprint scanner at all.

Helio A22 chipset also has a built in GPU, PowerVR Rogue GE8300, which should answer most low to mid demanding tasks decently. The chipset will be paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, however, if you feel that 32GB is not enough, there is an option to expand the storage via a microSD card up to additional 512GB.

This camera on the back has a resolution of 13MP and aperture of f/1.8, while the selfie camera only has 8MP resolution with fixed focus – pretty basic stuff. The phone will run on EMUI 9.0 on top of Android Pie, and all this will be fed by a 3020 mAh battery that charges through a microUSB port at the bottom.

Huawei Y6 Pro will come in two color versions, Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue, and in Philippines it will be priced at PHP6990, which translates to around 120€. It will be available for preorders on February 18, and will hit the market soon afterwards on February 23.
