LG G7 ThinQ to receive Android 9.0 Pie
Earlier LG have confirmed that at least two of their phones, the G7 ThinQ and V35 ThinQ will get their long expected Android 9.0 Pie update in the first quarter of 2019.

The update brings a new settings menu, improved system stability as well as additional battery saving features. Safety features are also a big part of the update. Also double application support is added through which you can, for example, use two social networking account simultaneously through one phone. The camera has received the "Magic Photo" feature which provides users an option to animate a part of an image they want.
LG usually first releases the updates in their home market, i.e. in South Korea, and a few months later they release the global version, so if you're an LG G7 ThinQ user, you can expect an update notification in the following months.
