Motorola Z4 to be a true flagship in 2019

This year, Motorola didn't really performed the best. They launched the Motorola Moto Z3 back in August which didn't live up to its flagship name. It was – too old – even upon arrival, since was powered by the last year's Snapdragon 835. This time around it seems that Motorola doesn't plan on making the same mistake once again.

The Moto Z4 (codename Odin) will sport the latest and greatest Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 8150 (officially to be announced in December). However, Motorola won't be able to redeem only with a good chipset, so we expect this phone to have some other new, interesting features. For example, the Z4 will come with its own new 5G MotoMod. We still don't know though whether old MotoMods will fit onto the Z4.

Other information is just speculation at the moment, but our educated guess is that it will use Android 9.0, it will have at least 4GB of RAM and 32GB storage memory. Also, some rumors point towards the company developing software to support an in-display fingerprint reader, which this phone will most likely get.
