New update adds a new feature for Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ camera
The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ recently received an update for the camera that enables their camera to have a maximum recording time of 0.4 seconds real time on 480 FPS (Frames Per Second). This is an slight improvement over the old one which had a maximum of 0.2 seconds on 960 FPS which means with the new update, it’s now possible to capture the video more slowly.
You may notice that the Frames Per Second when using the super slow motion have dropped down, that’s because it’s a necessary sacrifice to achieve recording on longer slow motion. However, you can switch back to 960 FPS if you still want to use it on automatic mode.

The camera should have more stabilized AR Emojis once the update has been installed. Furthermore, the update also brings the July android patch and improves the general stability performance and security of the smartphone.
The update has been reported to have already been rolled out in India and South Korea but it should also be available worldwide sooner or later.
