Qualcomm developing two processors for the Android Go smartphones
Qualcomm still continues to dedicate themselves on creating low-end processors despite creating powerful processors such as the Snapdragon 845 and 710. The company is apparently reported to be developing two latest processors for the Snapdragon 400-series, the Snapdragon 429 and 439 that might be aimed for Android Go smartphones. The Snapdragon 439 seems to be a variant of Snapdragon 625 according to the leaks, if this is true then we can expect the Snapdragon 439 to feature a 14nm process and an octa-core setup.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 and 439 incoming. Aimed at Android GO devices, but not exclusive to these. No idea what the 429 is, yet, but the 439 is a variant of the MSM8953 aka Snapdragon 625 = octacore ARM Cortex-A53, 14nm. No clue about speeds/other specs.

If the new additions for the Snapdragon 400 series is planned for the entry-level smartphones then it’s likely that manufacturers will discard the Snapdragon 200 series for the 400 series to significantly improve the performance. Since the next wave of Android Go will arrive this summer soon, we can assume that Qualcomm might also announce the new upcoming processors alongside it. Source
